यूपी में नहीं बढ़ेंगी बिजली की दर, उपभोक्ताों का हित सर्वोपरि-एके शर्मा
उत्तर प्रदेश में बिजली की दर बढ़ने के कयास व संभावनाओं पर नगर विकास एवं उर्जा मंत्री एके शर्मा ने यह कहते हुए विराम लगा दिया है कि प्रदेश में न तो बिजली की दर महंगी हुई है और न ही भविष्य में होने जा रही हैं। दरअसल, राज्य विद्युत उपभोक्ता परिषद ने टाटा पावर के उड़ीसा मॉडल पर सवाल उठाते हुए कहा था कि इस मॉडल से उत्तर प्रदेश में बिजली महंगी हो सकती है। इसके बाद से ही बिजली दर बढ़ने की आशंका जताई जा रही थी।
नगर विकास एवं उर्जा मंत्री एके शर्मा ने कहा कि यह सरकार उपभोक्ताओं के हितों को प्राथमिकता देती है और निजीकरण का कोई भी कदम उनके हितों के खिलाफ नहीं होगा। सरकार किसी भी मॉडल को अपनाने से पहले उसकी पूरी जांच और समीक्षा करेगी। प्रदेश सरकार उपभोक्ताओं के हितों को लेकर प्रतिबद्ध है। निजीकरण का कोई भी निर्णय तब तक नहीं लिया जाएगा, जब तक वह राज्य के उपभोक्ताओं के हित में न हो।
दरअसल, परिषद ने कहा था कि उड़ीसा में एक किलोवाट घरेलू कनेक्शन के लिए 3941 रुपए शुल्क लिया जा रहा है, जबकि उत्तर प्रदेश में यह शुल्क ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में 1172 रुपए और शहरी क्षेत्रों में 1620 रुपए है। इसके साथ ही, उड़ीसा में स्मार्ट प्रीपेड मीटर के लिए उपभोक्ताओं से हर महीने 60 रुपए अतिरिक्त वसूले जा रहे हैं।
