नौचंदी में मनचले की पिटाई, वीडियो वायरल
मेरठ के नौचंदी मेले में युवतियों से छेड़छाड़ कर रहे एक मनचले को भीड़ ने पकड़ कर पीट दिया। भीड़ ने पुलिस की मौजूदगी में भी मनचले पर लात घूंसों की बरसात की। पुलिस मनचले को अपने साथ लेकर थाने चली गई। यह वारदात रविवार की देर रात का है। इसका वीडिया भी वायरल हो रहा है।
मेरठ में ऐतिहासिक नौचंदी मेला शुरू हो चुका है। यूं तो नौचंदी मेला होली के बाद पड़ने एक रविवार के बाद पड़ने वाले दूसरे रविवार से शुरू होता है लेकिन स्थानीय नगर निकाय चुनाव के कारण मेले को स्थागित कर दिया गया था। अब निकाय चुनाव समाप्त हो चुके हैं तो मेले का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। मेले में बड़ी संख्या में लोग आ रहे हैं। ऐसे में मनचलों की संख्या में भी इजाफा हो गया है।

रविवार की रात एक ऐसे ही मनचले ने जैसे ही छेड़छाड़ की , युवती ने शोर मचा दिया। पास के लोगों ने यह देख उसे पकड़ लिया और लात घूंसों की बरसात कर दी। सूचना पाकर पुलिस पहुंच गयी लेकिन वह मूकदर्शक बन कर उसकी पिटाई देखती रही। बाद में पुलिस ने उसे हिरासत में ले लिया। इसका वीडियो अब सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रहा है। वहीं पुलिस आरोपी के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की बात कह रही है। मेला प्रभारी जितेंद्र सिंह का कहना है कि मामले में अभी किसी प्रकार की तहरीर नहीं आई है। तहरीर आने पर आरोपी के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
