कादिर राणा की स्टील फैक्ट्री में जीएसटी टीम पर हमला, शाहनवाज राणा समेत चार गिरफ्तार

मुजफ्फरनगर का वहलना चौक आज दिन भर अखाड़ा बना रहा। दरअसल, केद्रीय वस्तु एवं सेवाकर जीएसटी की टीम ने एक साथ चार स्टील फैक्ट्रियों पर छापा मारा था। इस छापेमारी का विरोध करते हुए बसपा के पूर्व सांसद कादिर राणा की राणा स्टील फैक्ट्री पर टीम पर हमला कर दिया गया। यहां पथराव भी टीम पर किया गया।
पुलिस ने जीएसटी खुफिया महानिदेशालय और जीएसटी की टीम द्वारा दी गई तहरीर के आधार पर पूर्व विधायक शाहनवाज राणा,कादिर राणा की दो बेटियों सादिया व सारिया को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। सभी को कोर्ट में पेश किया गया जहां से शाहनवाज व सद्दाम की जमानत खारिज कर दी गई जबकि महिला को जमानत दे दी गई।
छापेमारी की यह कार्रवाई जीएसटी खुफिया निदेशालय व टीएसटी की ग्यारह टीमों ने एक साथ की थी। यह छापेमारी राना स्टील प्राइवेट लिमिटेड, अंबा स्टील, दुर्गा स्टील और सर्वोत्तम स्टील फैक्ट्री पर की गई।
