बिजनौर लोकसभा सीट से बसपा ने विजेंद्र सिंह को चुनाव मैदान में उतारा

लोकसभा चुनाव की बयार तेज हो गयी है। लोकदल के महासचिव बनने के बाद एकाएक ही राजनीतिक तापमान बढ़ाने वाले चौधरी विजेंद्र सिंह को बसपा ने बिजनौर लोकसभा सीट से चुनाव लड़ाने का फैसला लिया है। पार्टी यहां से मलूक नागर को चुनाव लडाना चाहती थी लेकिन मलूक नागर ने खुद ही आगे बढ़ने से इनकार कर दिया। उनकी भाजपा से बढ़ती नजदीकी भी इन दिनों चर्चा में हैं। मलूक नागर की जगह पार्टी ने अब लोकदल के सभी पदों से इस्तीफा देकर सभी को चौका देने वाले चौधरी विजेंद्र सिंह को मैदान में उतार दिया है। इसके अलावा मेरठ हापुड़ लोकसभा क्षेत्र से देववत्त त्यागी का टिकट भी फाइनल है, आज यह एक दो दिन में इसकी भी घोषणा होना बाकी है। बिजनौर लोकसभा सीट पर भाजपा गठबंधन के साथी रालोद ने चंदन चौहान को प्रत्याशी बनाकर मजबूत दावेदारी ठोक दी है।
लोकसभा चुनाव के प्रत्याशियों की घोषणा लगभग सभी राजनीतिक दल कर चुके हैं। बसपा ने आज अपना पिटारा खोल दिया है। आज दोपहर बिजनौर में हुई प्रेस वार्ता में चौधरी विजेंद्र सिंह को बिजनौर लोकसभा सीट से प्र्त्याशी घोषित कर दिये गये हैं। चौधरी विजेंद्र सिंह ने चार माह पूर्व ही लोकदल का बतौर राष्ट्रीय महासचिव दायित्व संभाला था। बिजनौर लोकसभा सीट से वह चुनाव की तैयारी कर रहे थे। मीरापुर में जनसभा के अलावा उन्होंने तमाम रोड शो कर शक्ति प्रदर्शन का काम किया था। इसके अलावा चौधरी चरण सिंह को भारत रत्न देने की मांग करते हुए विजेंद्र ने मेरठ से किसान घाट दिल्ली तक रोड शो किया था। बाद में केंद्र सरकार ने चौधरी चरण सिंह को भारत रत्न देने की घोषणा की थी। चौधरी विजेंद्र सिंह ने चुनावी तैयारी के व लोकसभा चुनाव की घोषणा से पहले ही लोकदल के सभी पदों से इस्तीफा देकर सभी को चौकाने का काम किया था।

विजेंद्र सिंह के इस्तीफे के बाद ही यह कयास शुरू हो गये थे कि अब वह किस दल से अपनी राजनीतिक लड़ाई जारी रखेंगे। इस्तीफे के बाद ही उन्होंने कहा था वह अब किस दल में जायेंगे इसका फैसला सभी साथियों से सलाह मशविरा करने के बाद ही लिया जायेगा। आज बिजनौर में बसपा ने प्रेस वार्ता आहूत की और इसमें विजेंद्र सिंह को बिजनौर लोकसभा सीट से पार्टी का प्रत्याशी घोषित कर दिया।
जहां तक बात मेरठ हापुड़ लोकसभा क्षेत्र की है तो सूत्रों का कहना है कि यहां से दवा व्यवसायी देवदत्त त्यागी का टिकट फाइनल हो चुका है, बस औपचारिक घोषणा होना बाकी है। बीती रात लखनऊ में देवदत्त त्यागी की पार्टी सुप्रीमो मायावती से मुलाकात हो गई है। पार्टी से जुड़े सूत्रों का कहना है कि उनके टिकट की घोषणा भी अब हो जायेगी।
