आज मेरठ के प्रभारी मंत्री धर्मपाल सिंह मेरठ आये। विकास कार्यों व कानून व्यवस्था की समीक्षा की। जनप्रतिनिधियों से मिले और फिर मीडिया से भी मुखातिब हुए। पहले देखिये क्या कहा प्रभारी मंत्री होने के नाते क्या कहा-मोदी के सपनों का यूपी बने, इसके लिये योगी सरकार प्रयासरत है, पारदर्शी ,जवाबदेह शासन व ईमानदारी व संवेदनशील प्रशासन उपलब्ध कराने के लिये प्रतिबध है। जनता की जान से खिलवाड़ नहीं करने दिया जायेगा। चाहे कुछ भी करना पड़े, यह जवाब था इस सवाल पर कि मेरठ में कई अस्पताल ऐसे संचालित हैं जहां फायर की एनओसी तक नहीं है, पार्किंग आदि नहीं है और फिर भी चल रहे हैं।

इस दौरान प्रभारी मंत्री ने जवाब में सब कुछ डिटेल से बताया लेकिन गंदगी से अटे पड़े शहर और कूड़े के पहाड़ों की आड में चल रहे भ्रष्टाचार पर मीडिया को टालू मिक्चर पिलाने की कोशिश से भी उन्होंने गुरेज नहीं किया। अंत में इतना जरूर कहा कि अब एक बात सुन लो..हम मेरठ में कूड़े से कांचन बनायेंगे। मतलब सोना। सोने का एक पर्यायवाची कंचन है।
