मौलाना अबुल कलाम आजाद के वंशज हैं आमिर

आमिर स्वतंत्रता संग्राम सेनानी मौलाना अबुल कलाम आजाद के परिवार से हैं। वो आमिर के ग्रेट ग्रैंड अंकल यानी परदादा हैं। आमिर की दादी मौलाना आजाद की भतीजी थीं। आजाद स्वत्रंत भारत के पहले एजुकेशन मिनिस्टर थे। आमिर के पिता ताहिर हुसैन पूर्व राष्ट्रपति जाकिर हुसैन के रिलेटिव हैं। दरअसल, जाकिर हुसैन सात भाइयों में से दूसरे नंबर के थे। उन्हीं में से एक भाई की फैमिली के वंशज आमिर खान हैं।

जाकिर हुसैन की तरह ही आमिर खान के पूर्वज भी यूपी में फर्रुखाबाद के कैमगंज के रहने वाले हैं। हुसैन के जन्म के बाद उनका परिवार हैदराबाद से आकर यहां बसा था। ये दोनों आफरीदी ट्राइब के पश्तून परिवार से आते हैं। यही नहीं, पॉलिटिशियन नजमा हेपतुल्ला आमिर की सेकेंड कजिन हैं। वे मौलाना आजाद की पोती लगती हैं।

हरदोई में है आमिर का पुश्तैनी गांव

आमिर खान का पुश्तैनी गांव हरदोई से 40 किलोमीटर दूर शाहाबाद कस्बे में हैं। यहां अख्तियारपुर में आमिर का पुश्तैनी मकान है जो कि अब लगभग खंडहर हो चुका है।

आमिर के दादा जफर हुसैन खान के तीन बेटे बकर हुसैन खान, नासिर हुसैन खान और ताहिर हुसैन खान पुश्तैनी गांव हरदोई से 40 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित शाहाबाद कस्बे में पुश्तैनी मकान में एक साथ रहते थे।

50 के दशक में नासिर हुसैन मुंबई चले गए और कामयाब निर्माता-निर्देशक बन गए। इससे पहले नासिर हुसैन शाहाबाद नगरपालिका में काफी समय तक सेक्रेटरी भी रहे। यहां से जाने के बाद उन्होंने ताहिर हुसैन को अपने पास बुला लिया।

वहीं, आमिर और फैजल पैदा हुए, तबसे हरदोई से उनका नाता टूट-सा गया। आमिर वहां कभी नहीं गए, लेकिन 2011 में उन्होंने एक इंटरव्यू में कहा था कि पुश्तैनी मकान को कभी बेचने नही देंगे इसलिए उन्होंने पूरी पुश्तैनी जमीन खरीद ली थी।
